This o-ring is supplied in AS568-024 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 1.114 in (28.3 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.254 in (31.85 mm), catalogued under part number HSN90024. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, excellent abrasion and tear strength. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, modern refrigerants, and ozone and weathering. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where chlorinated hydrocarbons or esters are present.

Typical settings include oilfield and downhole equipment, commercial refrigeration, and automotive air conditioning.
