APG stocks the HSN90028, an AS568-028 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.364 in (34.65 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.504 in (38.2 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists ozone and weathering, petroleum oils and fuels, and modern refrigerants. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for excellent abrasion and tear strength, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or esters.

It sees regular use in heavy-duty powertrain, oilfield and downhole equipment, and automotive air conditioning.
