568-150 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

HSN90150 is an AS568-150 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.862 in (72.69 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.068 in (77.93 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. The compound resists sour gas and amine inhibitors, petroleum oils and fuels, and ozone and weathering. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving strong oxidizing acids or ketones call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in heavy-duty powertrain, automotive air conditioning, and oilfield and downhole equipment.
