This o-ring is supplied in AS568-220 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 1.359 in (34.52 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.637 in (41.58 mm), catalogued under part number HSN90220. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against sour gas and amine inhibitors, heat and oxidation, and petroleum oils and fuels. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for excellent abrasion and tear strength, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where esters or chlorinated hydrocarbons are present.

It sees regular use in automotive air conditioning, commercial refrigeration, and heavy-duty powertrain.
