568-224 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

HSN90224 is an AS568-224 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.734 in (44.04 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.012 in (51.1 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for excellent abrasion and tear strength, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Expect good resistance to sour gas and amine inhibitors, ozone and weathering, and heat and oxidation. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Applications involving ketones or esters call for a different compound.

Common environments for this compound include commercial refrigeration, automotive air conditioning, and oilfield and downhole equipment.
