This o-ring is supplied in AS568-334 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 2.6 in (66.04 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.02 in (76.71 mm), catalogued under part number HSN90334. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for excellent abrasion and tear strength, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, modern refrigerants, and heat and oxidation. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where strong oxidizing acids or chlorinated hydrocarbons are present.

It sees regular use in engine timing systems, commercial refrigeration, and oilfield and downhole equipment.
