Ordered as HSN90347, this is an AS568-347 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.225 in (107.32 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.645 in (117.98 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is widely chosen for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. The compound resists heat and oxidation, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and modern refrigerants. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to ketones or esters will shorten service life.
