568-355 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

The HSN90355 is an AS568-355 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.225 in (132.72 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.645 in (143.38 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, excellent abrasion and tear strength. Expect good resistance to ozone and weathering, heat and oxidation, and petroleum oils and fuels. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving chlorinated hydrocarbons or strong oxidizing acids call for a different compound.
