Part number HSN90437 is an AS568-437 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.975 in (151.77 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.525 in (165.74 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is valued for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. It resists modern refrigerants, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and ozone and weathering. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving ketones or chlorinated hydrocarbons call for a different compound.
