HQ4001 is an AS568-001 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.029 in (0.74 mm), a cross section of 0.04 in (1.02 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.109 in (2.77 mm). In service, this quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

This material stands up to many alcohols, hydraulic fluids, and greases and lubricants. Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where strong acids or automotive brake fluid are present.

Typical settings include construction equipment, agricultural equipment, and fluid power.

Stocked as HQ4001 and sold individually. Nominal inside diameter is listed as 1/32 inch. Confirm chemical compatibility, pressure and temperature against your own application requirements before installing.
