The HQ4024 is an AS568-024 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.114 in (2.9 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.254 in (31.85 mm). This quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

Buna-N (Nitrile) offers low compression set under sustained load, strong abrasion and tear resistance. It resists propane and butane, water, and greases and lubricants. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).

Typical settings include automotive, fluid power, and agricultural equipment.
