HQ4145 is an AS568-145 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.55 in (64.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.756 in (70 mm). In service, this quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

The material holds up against water, greases and lubricants, and many alcohols. Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Verify compatibility before use with strong acids or automotive brake fluid.
