4254-366Y MINNESOTA RUBBER QUAD RING

This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-254 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile supplied with an inside diameter of 5.484 in (139.29 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.762 in (146.35 mm), catalogued under part number HQ4254. It uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material holds up against petroleum-based oils, water, and hydraulic fluids. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where strong acids or ketones are present.
