The HQ4258 is an AS568-258 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.984 in (151.99 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.262 in (159.05 mm). This quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

The compound resists greases and lubricants, hydraulic fluids, and propane and butane. Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to strong acids or ozone and direct sunlight will shorten service life.

Typical settings include construction equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and general industrial maintenance.
