The HQ4340 is an AS568-340 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.35 in (85.09 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.77 in (95.76 mm). This quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Expect good resistance to water, greases and lubricants, and many alcohols. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Verify compatibility before use with automotive brake fluid or polar solvents.
