HQ4375 is an AS568-375 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 9.475 in (240.67 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.895 in (251.33 mm). In service, this quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

This material stands up to water, greases and lubricants, and many alcohols. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where strong acids or automotive brake fluid are present.
