This o-ring is supplied in AS568-148 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 2.737 in (69.52 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.943 in (74.75 mm), catalogued under part number HS70148. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability and strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, ozone and weathering, and modern refrigerants. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where chlorinated hydrocarbons or strong oxidizing acids are present.
