HSN80005 is an AS568-005 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.101 in (2.57 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.241 in (6.12 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against heat and oxidation, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and petroleum oils and fuels. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, excellent abrasion and tear strength. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving strong oxidizing acids or ketones call for a different compound.
