HSN (HNBR) 80 568-023

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-023 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A with an inside diameter of 1.051 in (26.7 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.191 in (30.25 mm), catalogued under part number HSN80023. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, heat and oxidation, and ozone and weathering. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for excellent abrasion and tear strength, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to chlorinated hydrocarbons or esters will shorten service life.
