HSN (HNBR) 80 568-026

The HSN80026 is an AS568-026 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.239 in (31.47 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.379 in (35.03 mm). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Expect good resistance to ozone and weathering, modern refrigerants, and petroleum oils and fuels. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where esters or ketones are present.

Common environments for this compound include commercial refrigeration, oilfield and downhole equipment, and engine timing systems.
