HSN (HNBR) 80 568-028

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-028 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 1.364 in (34.65 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.504 in (38.2 mm), catalogued under part number HSN80028. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for excellent abrasion and tear strength, strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. Expect good resistance to modern refrigerants, petroleum oils and fuels, and ozone and weathering. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C).
