HSN (HNBR) 80 568-029

HSN80029 is an AS568-029 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.489 in (37.82 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.629 in (41.38 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, heat and oxidation, and modern refrigerants. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, excellent abrasion and tear strength. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where chlorinated hydrocarbons or ketones are present.
