APG stocks the HSN80043, an AS568-043 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3.489 in (88.62 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.629 in (92.18 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to ozone and weathering, heat and oxidation, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving esters or strong oxidizing acids call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in heavy-duty powertrain, commercial refrigeration, and oilfield and downhole equipment.
