Ordered as HSN80044, this is an AS568-044 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.739 in (94.97 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.879 in (98.53 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. Expect good resistance to ozone and weathering, modern refrigerants, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where strong oxidizing acids or chlorinated hydrocarbons are present.

Typical settings include commercial refrigeration, oilfield and downhole equipment, and engine timing systems.
