Part number HSN80048 is an AS568-048 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.739 in (120.37 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.879 in (123.93 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. The compound resists modern refrigerants, ozone and weathering, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or ketones.
