HSN (HNBR) 80 568-102

HSN80102 is an AS568-102 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.049 in (1.24 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.255 in (6.48 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, excellent abrasion and tear strength. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, ozone and weathering, and modern refrigerants. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Applications involving chlorinated hydrocarbons or strong oxidizing acids call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in commercial refrigeration, engine timing systems, and oilfield and downhole equipment.

Stocked as HSN80102 and sold individually. Nominal inside diameter is listed as 1/16 inch. Check the compound against your process media, pressure and temperature before committing to a design.
