HSN (HNBR) 80 568-103

Ordered as HSN80103, this is an AS568-103 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.081 in (2.06 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.287 in (7.29 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified here for excellent abrasion and tear strength, strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, heat and oxidation, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where strong oxidizing acids or ketones are present.
