HSN (HNBR) 80 568-139

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-139 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 2.175 in (55.25 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.381 in (60.48 mm), catalogued under part number HSN80139. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, excellent abrasion and tear strength. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and ozone and weathering. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Applications involving ketones or strong oxidizing acids call for a different compound.
