HSN (HNBR) 80 568-142

HSN80142 is an AS568-142 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.362 in (59.99 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.568 in (65.23 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists sour gas and amine inhibitors, modern refrigerants, and heat and oxidation. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is valued for excellent abrasion and tear strength, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where esters or chlorinated hydrocarbons are present.

It sees regular use in oilfield and downhole equipment, heavy-duty powertrain, and engine timing systems.
