HSN (HNBR) 80 568-150

The HSN80150 is an AS568-150 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.862 in (72.69 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.068 in (77.93 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. Expect good resistance to heat and oxidation, modern refrigerants, and ozone and weathering. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where strong oxidizing acids or chlorinated hydrocarbons are present.

It sees regular use in engine timing systems, heavy-duty powertrain, and commercial refrigeration.
