HSN (HNBR) 80 568-162

HSN80162 is an AS568-162 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.737 in (145.72 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.943 in (150.95 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The material holds up against modern refrigerants, petroleum oils and fuels, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, excellent abrasion and tear strength. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in chlorinated hydrocarbons or esters.
