HSN (HNBR) 80 568-163

HSN80163 is an AS568-163 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.987 in (152.07 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.193 in (157.3 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

This material stands up to sour gas and amine inhibitors, heat and oxidation, and ozone and weathering. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for excellent abrasion and tear strength, strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to strong oxidizing acids or chlorinated hydrocarbons will shorten service life.
