HSN (HNBR) 80 568-165

The HSN80165 is an AS568-165 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 6.487 in (164.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.693 in (170 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers excellent abrasion and tear strength, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. It resists ozone and weathering, petroleum oils and fuels, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving ketones or strong oxidizing acids call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in heavy-duty powertrain, commercial refrigeration, and engine timing systems.
