Part number HSN80170 is an AS568-170 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 7.737 in (196.52 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.943 in (201.75 mm). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

This material stands up to modern refrigerants, heat and oxidation, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) delivers the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to esters or ketones will shorten service life.
