HSN (HNBR) 80 568-253

The HSN80253 is an AS568-253 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.359 in (136.12 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.637 in (143.18 mm). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

It resists heat and oxidation, modern refrigerants, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or esters are present.

It sees regular use in engine timing systems, commercial refrigeration, and automotive air conditioning.
