HSN (HNBR) 80 568-255

The HSN80255 is an AS568-255 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.609 in (142.47 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.887 in (149.53 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) delivers strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. Expect good resistance to ozone and weathering, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and heat and oxidation. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service.

Common environments for this compound include oilfield and downhole equipment, commercial refrigeration, and engine timing systems.
