HSN (HNBR) 80 568-262

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-262 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A with an inside diameter of 6.984 in (177.39 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.262 in (184.45 mm), catalogued under part number HSN80262. It creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. This material stands up to heat and oxidation, modern refrigerants, and ozone and weathering. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Verify compatibility before use with esters or chlorinated hydrocarbons.

Typical settings include oilfield and downhole equipment, commercial refrigeration, and automotive air conditioning.
