HSN (HNBR) 80 568-272

APG stocks the HSN80272, an AS568-272 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 9.484 in (240.89 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.762 in (247.95 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against modern refrigerants, heat and oxidation, and petroleum oils and fuels. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, excellent abrasion and tear strength. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where chlorinated hydrocarbons or strong oxidizing acids are present.
