In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is known for long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. The material holds up against sour gas and amine inhibitors, heat and oxidation, and ozone and weathering. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Verify compatibility before use with esters or strong oxidizing acids.

Typical settings include heavy-duty powertrain, oilfield and downhole equipment, and commercial refrigeration.
