HSN (HNBR) 80 568-279

The HSN80279 is an AS568-279 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 12.984 in (329.79 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 13.262 in (336.85 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

This material stands up to heat and oxidation, ozone and weathering, and petroleum oils and fuels. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is valued for excellent abrasion and tear strength, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to chlorinated hydrocarbons or esters will shorten service life.

Typical settings include automotive air conditioning, heavy-duty powertrain, and commercial refrigeration.
