Ordered as HSN80281, this is an AS568-281 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 14.984 in (380.59 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 15.262 in (387.65 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, ozone and weathering, and modern refrigerants. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is valued for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or esters are present.

It sees regular use in commercial refrigeration, automotive air conditioning, and engine timing systems.
