HSN (HNBR) 80 568-309

APG stocks the HSN80309, an AS568-309 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.412 in (10.46 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.832 in (21.13 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to modern refrigerants, petroleum oils and fuels, and heat and oxidation. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, excellent abrasion and tear strength. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where esters or chlorinated hydrocarbons are present.

Typical settings include automotive air conditioning, engine timing systems, and heavy-duty powertrain.
