This o-ring is supplied in AS568-311 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A with an inside diameter of 0.537 in (13.64 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.957 in (24.31 mm), catalogued under part number HSN80311. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. Expect good resistance to sour gas and amine inhibitors, modern refrigerants, and heat and oxidation. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in strong oxidizing acids or ketones.
