HSN (HNBR) 80 568-312

APG stocks the HSN80312, an AS568-312 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.6 in (15.24 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.02 in (25.91 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to sour gas and amine inhibitors, heat and oxidation, and petroleum oils and fuels. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). Applications involving esters or strong oxidizing acids call for a different compound.
