APG stocks the HSN80322, an AS568-322 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.225 in (31.12 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.645 in (41.78 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The compound resists heat and oxidation, modern refrigerants, and ozone and weathering. HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where chlorinated hydrocarbons or esters are present.

Typical settings include automotive air conditioning, commercial refrigeration, and engine timing systems.
