HSN (HNBR) 80 568-372

APG stocks the HSN80372, an AS568-372 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 8.725 in (221.62 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.145 in (232.28 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) delivers improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. It resists heat and oxidation, petroleum oils and fuels, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where strong oxidizing acids or ketones are present.

Typical settings include heavy-duty powertrain, engine timing systems, and commercial refrigeration.

HSN80372 ships individually. Nominal inside diameter is listed as 8 3/4 inch. Confirm chemical compatibility, pressure and temperature against your own application requirements before installing.
