This o-ring is supplied in AS568-380 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 11.475 in (291.47 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.895 in (302.13 mm), catalogued under part number HSN80380. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for excellent abrasion and tear strength, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. The material holds up against ozone and weathering, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and modern refrigerants. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C).

Typical settings include heavy-duty powertrain, oilfield and downhole equipment, and commercial refrigeration.
