HSN (HNBR) 80 568-381

Ordered as HSN80381, this is an AS568-381 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 11.975 in (304.17 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 12.395 in (314.83 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. This material stands up to modern refrigerants, heat and oxidation, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service.

Typical settings include automotive air conditioning, commercial refrigeration, and oilfield and downhole equipment.
