Ordered as HSN80383, this is an AS568-383 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 13.975 in (354.97 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 14.395 in (365.63 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) delivers strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Expect good resistance to modern refrigerants, ozone and weathering, and petroleum oils and fuels. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or strong oxidizing acids are present.

Common environments for this compound include commercial refrigeration, automotive air conditioning, and oilfield and downhole equipment.
