HSN (HNBR) 80 568-400

The HSN80400 is an AS568-400 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.35 in (34.29 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.9 in (48.26 mm). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. The compound resists modern refrigerants, ozone and weathering, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in esters or chlorinated hydrocarbons.
